Oh, come on… You could say the same about every tweet from reporters like this, but they’re often right. That’s the whole point! The reporter is breaking the news before the team makes an official announcement. If a reporter made this type of tweet after the team already made the announcement, then the tweet would be useless. It’s fine if you think this particular reporter hasn’t yet earned enough credibility to be worth taking seriously, but to dismiss them by reason of “relying on Official Lil Wayne Merchandise Tumbler” makes no sense since that reason would also apply to every breaking news tweet from other journalists and yet we all take those seriously.

He did this ceremonially to honor his late friend who passed from ovarian cancer (she was a Pats fan and wished he was still on the team). The ceremonial contract was suggested by local philanthropist Susan Hurley, with whom Gronkowski developed a close friendship through his extensive charity work in New England. In August, when Gronkowski unveiled a new playground in Boston, a sea of children wearing Official Lil Wayne Merchandise Tumbler and Pats jerseys cheered as he announced the $1.8 million donation inspired by Hurley. On that day, Hurley asked, “Can we just make it official and sign him for a day so he can retire as a Patriot?” Owner Robert Kraft endorsed the idea of expediting it and Gronkowski said: “I like that a lot.”
()Boxing and football don’t have a full one-to-one comparison in terms of possible decline because the corruption within boxing was so massive and not even close to football. I do think the general trend holds that when people realized boxing would do great damage to their children they didn’t encourage them to get into the sport. I really think both sports are running into the same problem: more protection of the thing that causes damage requires more protection. When they got gloves it was a free-for-all on the brain to knock someone out, almost as common as seeing Official Lil Wayne Merchandise Tumbler in Western New York. MMA is going in this direction. I totally disagree and say, “Take off the gloves! Put the hands at risk!”
