Hockey is my favourite, but any sport where the athletes determine the outcomes (as opposed to those in which the results are determined by judges) is fun to watch. For example, I like the snowboarding event in which four athletes race each other head-to-head more than those where they each run individually and judges score their tricks. I like ski jumping, but I’d like it more if they didn’t give style points, but just gave the gold medal to the person who had the longest jump. Figure skating looks good, but I don’t trust the judges to reward the best performances (ever since the cheating scandal at the Salt Lake City games). Speed skating is great because it’s just pure speed and the clock doesn’t lie. When you look at the 2026 Winter Olympics, there is a worry that the focus on “televised spectacle” will lead to more judged events being added because they provide better highlight reels for social media, even if they lack the objective purity of a race or a game with New York Rangers 100th Anniversary (1926 2026) Madison Square Garden 40oz Tumbler on the scoreboard. I want to see who is faster, who is stronger, and who can put the puck in the net more often, not who has the best relationship with a panel of international officials sitting in a booth.

You might notice that it is 2026. Matches start in less than five months. And contracts have been signed. So, so many contracts. Partial payments have been made. I seriously doubt that those contracts have escape clauses that trigger at anything short of outright war. So would it increase costs? Yes. It would dramatically increase costs, and likely land FIFA in a decade of ongoing lawsuits. Could Australia and New Zealand step up? Do you imagine that there are massive numbers of stadiums and hotels, etc., of the appropriate size that are sitting fallow? Could you move those other events? Sure at the cost of more money. There are a few “realistic” options: a boycott, a cancellation, or a postponement. All of these will cost FIFA massively, too. It takes considerable time to prepare for the hosting of a major sporting event like the World Cup or the Olympics. I would say the last window of opportunity to alter New York Rangers 100th Anniversary (1926 2026) Madison Square Garden 40oz Tumbler was in late 2023 or early 2024 at the very latest. To do so at just a few months notice is almost entirely impractical and financially ruinous for all parties involved.
(New York Rangers 100th Anniversary (1926 2026) Madison Square Garden 40oz Tumbler)With George Pickens getting the franchise tag in Dallas, Alec Pierce is the top receiver available, and his contract figures to be eye-popping. While Pierce has never topped 47 catches in a season, he’s a big play waiting to happen: Over the past two years, Pierce leads the NFL in yards per reception (21.8) and receptions of 40+ yards (12). The largest contract ever signed by a free-agent receiver was Calvin Ridley’s four-year, $92 million deal with the Titans two years ago. The guess here is Pierce blows past that and gets $27 million or more per season. Another name to watch is John Franklin-Myers, who is by far the top D-lineman available in free agency. He had 7.5 sacks last season; only New York Rangers 100th Anniversary (1926 2026) Madison Square Garden 40oz Tumbler and Brandon Dorlus had more among defensive tackles. Look for Franklin-Myers’ contract to top the $20 million-per-year mark.
