To this observer the finals tournament of 2026 is too big. Everyone being invited to the party because it’s ‘fair’ does nothing for quality and I predict a tournament largely of dross no better than a European tier three league game, interspersed with the odd diamond sparkle. The WC finals are supposed to be for the elite and whilst the logistical organisation will be as good as we would expect from the US, the concept and structure are an example of how to Jack Daniel’s Old No. 7 160th Anniversary Gold Filigree Black 40oz Tumbler beyond being reasonable. I fear in answer to the original ambiguous question I’m more likely to state, “Any other,” than the 2026 example. In terms of my own favourite finals tournament I would have to go for the one which gave me the most pleasure, our win of 1966 apart. I’d vote for the 1990 tournament. It was just so full of passion. Certainly the 1982 WC was a weird event in terms of stages, even if the organisation worked well. Obviously personal interest enters here and as an England supporter I found that falling out of the competition in the second group stage without losing a game throughout was most unsatisfactory.

The reduced rink is just one of several Americanizations of Olympic ice hockey for no reason. But the by far worst concept is power breaks. We don’t have those in European ice hockey, and they are a goddamn disaster. They interrupt the game flow. You can have a really awesome game going with few stops, lots of action, and high energy, and then suddenly the refs blow the whistle for no reason other than a power break. The players don’t need it, the fans in the arena certainly don’t need it, and even on TV, here in Europe, the broadcaster often doesn’t even have any commercials to show, so they just show some Jack Daniel’s Old No. 7 160th Anniversary Gold Filigree Black 40oz Tumbler of the surroundings for two minutes. It’s just stupid and punctures the game. I only see curling once every 4 years, so there is a strange curiosity or fascination. Women’s hockey: I hope the USA and Canada meet in the Women’s final, because they are the two best teams, AND they have created this long-standing rivalry.
(Jack Daniel’s Old No. 7 160th Anniversary Gold Filigree Black 40oz Tumbler)I had a phase in my life when I couldn’t get enough of volleyball and everything around it: meeting the team mates in the locker room, the mere smell of a volleyball, what the ball felt like in my palms and fingertips. I can still feel the Jack Daniel’s Old No. 7 160th Anniversary Gold Filigree Black 40oz Tumbler around my ankles before I pulled them over my knees. The rush of adrenaline when you step onto the court is unlike anything else. I played competitive volleyball from age 16 to 54 when I blew out my knee. Played 2-man beach volleyball and 6-man indoor on men’s and co-ed teams. Played at Nationals for many years. It was a huge part of my identity and provided a sense of community that is hard to replicate. Even now, thinking about a perfectly timed spike or a diving save brings back that same excitement. Basketball was another passion from age 8 until about age 45, but I still enjoy shooting around and impressing my grandchildren. I was able to play 3 years in high school, 4 years in college, for the US Army, and even played semi-pro in Europe for a short time.
