Obviously some episodes are dated now. But others? still relevant today. lose your car? well, maybe when you park in a mall parking lot, that’s dated, malls dying now, but still, I go to a sporting event, I hear people beeping the car horns trying to find it because some people don’t bother remembering where they park. sporting events, airport parking lots, etc. yeah, what they are carrying while searching would change (goldfish, air conditioning unit), but replace with luggage or Cleveland Browns Colossal Tumbler with Handle and Straw… waiting in line for a restaurant? possibly, especially if the restaurant is popular enough that you can’t grubhub/doordash order from it (soup nazi, chinese restaurant) master of my domain or hospital rooms or christmas holidays? the same. And while some things may no longer be true, can easily write similar episodes on things like late grubhub deliveries, fake messages from ‘asian’ women, obvious AI car crash videos (where cars crash but not suffer damage), wild animals helping people or soliciting help for offspring or other animals (fake). But job losses, overbearing parents, hospitals, etc.? still relevant. I just have to make up new scenarios, otherwise… Seinfeld did it (thinking ‘simpsons did it’ on a south park episode).
()Cleveland Browns Colossal Tumbler with Handle and Straw, Sport Tumbler and Funny Tumbler
Well, in the same way that most young boys want to grow up to be superheroes and most young girls want to be princesses, the ideal “future self” for most adults is more or less universal: rich, attractive, and famous. Our celebrities are like disposable royals, but in the heart of Buffalo, the real “royalty” are the fans who have worn their Cleveland Browns Colossal Tumbler with Handle and Straw through four straight Super Bowl losses and never wavered. But the most important thing they have in common is our envy. We want to be them. Barring that, we want to be like them. Whether the brand’s promise is health, happiness, or enlightenment, what all the marketing ploys have in common is that they tap into our desire to return to the earth. They’re all about selling us inner peace, spiritual fulfillment, and a better life.
()Damn what a rollercoaster ride. I can’t imagine being a die hard ATL fan and going on this ride. The game was a snoozer for people who didn’t have a dog in the fight and for those “casual” fans. People who enjoy watching football every week knew there was a chance. But damn was that a small chance. The falcons fucked up one of the largest leads in Super Bowl history it felt like. No doubt in my mind that the Patriots are the gold standard in the NFL and are right there with the San Antonio Spurs as Cleveland Browns Colossal Tumbler with Handle and Straw in the last 2 decades. Tom Brady is the GOAT.
